Janis handled my family's cases and I now refer all my friends to her law office. SALAMAT PO!
Raul Ratunil, Bellfower, CA

On April 22, 2010 my husband's I-601 Waiver of Inadmissibility was approved and I owe it all to Janis. I have nothing but POSITIVE feed back on Janis, her law firm was very professional, and yet very courteous. Janis is such a great person, to me she has been more than just my attorney. I have complete trust in her, and she has been there for me throughout our whole referral. There wasn’t anytime that I felt I could not communicate with her about any issues that I was having. Janis always listened, and to me that was worth more than any amount I could of paid her. She made my concerns, hers. There wasnt any email that went un-answered, or a phone call that she didn’t return. I love that she really puts herself in your situation and looks at your case at all angles. I highly recommend Janis, she is straight to the point, and tells you what she thinks she can and can not do, Janis really took my whole situation into consideration and worked it from there, we are approved obviously but I will forever be greatful for all she did for us, she was a complete blessing and I especially hope that many others will look into her law firm for their immigration journey. So once more YES I would HIGHLY recommend her!!!!!

Janis and her law office are simply the best. They are absolutely the most professional, helpful, courteous people I have ever had the pleasure to know in my life. I have been a client for ten years now and during those ten years, Janis has been more than an attorney to me, she has been someone that I can fully trust and count on to always look after my best interest.  Janis and her staff knows the law so well and are constantly offering assistance and advice to solve any problem I might have no matter how small or large it may be. For ten years, Janis has helped me with tough complicated immigration matters, and each time, she dealt with it with the most professionalism and exceptional skills and knowledge of the law. She always listend to my concerns and have always been there for me when I needed her. I truly have been blessed to know Janis and for having her represent me and my family in all immigration matters. Integrity, honesty, and a real caring person who will always put your best interest ahead and will always go above and beyond to assist you is just some of the things that describe Janis and her staff. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for Janis, she not only helped me with the law, but she helped me realize my American dream. Thank you Janis.

Janis is a great person and attorney.
I am involved with a Southern California Church Group. We are Eastern Orthodox, not many of us around which presents a unique scenario.  Every year we bring a Musical Band from Serbia to play at our Church Functions.  We had no problems for about four years, than the Government refused to let them come in to the country.
That's when i contacted Janis.  Not was she only nice and caring, she got the job done. the band was again allowed to provide ethnic entertainment to a very small community all this thanks to a wonderful and very professional person
Thanks Janis and we will see you again at the end of the year
Sincerely,
Steve Trifunovic

This is to express my appreciation for the part you played as my Adoption Lawyer during the time I adopted my three younger children outside USA.  It was a very emotional and difficult time for my family, however you handled the case professionally. You have shown that you care and kindly answered all of my questions. It was your care attitude and willingness to communicate with the foreign officials that made the adoption and visa to enter USA possible. Thank you for a job well done.  I wish there are many lawyers like you who are willing to help their clients.
Sincerely,
Florence O.

Last February 2010, my Fiance Petition was approved through the help of Attorney Janis Peterson-Lord and we are currently working with her on my fiance's I-601 Waiver of Inadmissibility which then proceeds to obtaining his visa to the U.S.  No words can express how difficult it is to compile and present a strong waiver based from our experience, Attorney Janis is more than just a lending hand, she is our beacon of light, she helped us through every process, She is without a doubt an expert in the field of immigration cases, never fails to answer all our questions, emails, concern, she is direct to the point and definitely knows what she's doing.  Her staff provides you with a warm-friendly environment, at the same time a very professional attitude. My fiance who is currently in the Philippines and I are looking forward for a fruitful victory at the end of this process and we know that through the help of Attorney Janis, we can make it happen. Thank You and More Power!!!

Dear Madam, I am really thankful to your good self for making me success in my case of separation from my wife, & purpose of Green Card which you advocated in the court of law with reasonable fees. I take this success a result of your hard work and nice understanding and a use of your deep legal knowledge. You contacted me a number of times for getting the clear picture of the case and left no loophole for the respondent and presented the case with sole fulfillment to meet with the success. It is really a great blessing to me for getting success in my case which has made my life free of tension. Whenever I will find a person in need of legal help I will surely refer your name to him.  Yours truly,
